Thereâs bad news this week gang. The other day North Korea admitted, no, declared that it had weapons of, well, nuclear weapons.

The reason they gave for having them is to protect them selves from the United States.

Now if recent history is any indication, when as you will recall, the Afghanistan based Al Qaeda, made up of a predominately Arabian strike force, delivered a blow to the New York twin towers, and the United States reciprocated by preemptively invading Iraq, then the logical thing at this point is for America to be forced into making a preemptive strike, probably on Iran.

Korea, will most likely retaliate by nuking Seoul, North Korea and Iran will answer the preemptive strike by America by unloading everything they have on Israel, who is at this time dangerously close to sorting things out with the Palestinians. Peace could break out in that area at any time now.

Itâs all very confusing. How can we explain it to our children with a straight face?

Maybe we should just concentrate on things that are simple in nature. Things that we can actually control, Like keeping KPFT 90.1 FM, listener sponsored radio on the air. Like keeping the "Spare Change Show" on the air.

Members and friends of the Montrose Beer and Gun Club are well known for being attracted to worthy causes. Especially if theyâre not to hard to figure out.

Larry Winter, and all the gang at KPFT need your money to stay on the air, so get on the horn and pledge your support.

Think of it as a time of crises, and your contribution is a kind of preemptive strike. Itâll just make you feel good all over.

Till next week
